I (along with others) have always seen Bennett as a man with character, poised, and honor, yet in my opinion he went against everything I thought he was with the timing of this decision. Bennett has been with UVA team for over a decade so to just up and leave was disheartening but most importantly he had built a reputation with his players that now he has abandoned! Many of our players came to play directly under him and were willing to buy into his system. As listed above, life goes on and the Cavs had to just work with what they have. I believe for such a drastic change they have done the best they can with what they have! That is not to say that much progression has to be made but they are getting the experience to mesh better as a team! Let’s not forget we have a lot of freshman and walk ons this year so the chemistry has not been built! Through it all, the team is trying to make the best and I applaud Sanchez for working with what he has and putting these freshman on the floor and giving them the experience.
