This picture was taken of me, Dr. E C Fulcher Jr walking the path that Jesus walked carrying the cross that they were going to eventually nail him too. This is the path he was on when Simon, a Cyrenian came forth and they laid the cross on him that he might bear it after Jesus. ” ²⁶ And as they led him away, they laid hold upon one Simon, a Cyrenian, coming out of the country, and on him they laid the cross, that he might bear it after Jesus.” ( Luke 23:26)

I was humbled to walk the same path that Jesus walked to his death. I still remember the feeling I had while walking the same path in 1972. It drives me further to make sure that I preach the true word of God.

This picture was taken by Dr. E C Fulcher Jr during his trip to Israel in 1972. The Sea of Galilee, where Jesus walked on the sea and called Peter out to him and Peter did walk on the sea as well. And straightway Jesus constrained his disciples to get into a ship, and to go before him unto the other side, while he sent the multitudes away.

“²³And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, he was there alone. ²⁴But the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with waves: for the wind was contrary. ²⁵And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea. ²⁶And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear. ²⁷But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid. ²⁸And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. ²⁹And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.” (Matthew 14:23-29)

The Mosque of Omar, also known as the Dome of the Rock. It is considered to be a sacred place by the Jewish, Christian, and Islamic religions. It is believed that the building covers the exact location of the rock on Mount Moriah where Abram (Abraham), after being commanded by God, went to sacrifice his beloved son Isaac. The picture was taken during Dr. E C Fulcher Jr’.s trip in 1972.

This is the tomb from which Jesus spoke and Lazarus came forth, “And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth”, (John 11:43)
