Efulcher Line of Guitars

I started playing music when I was just six years old. At the young age of twelve, I started playing professionally and from twelve to the age of eighteen I played with different church groups and bands.

While I have a love for guitars, I also play many other instruments, including the keyboards, the organ, the mandolin, banjo, and the harmonica. To this day I am still playing and writing songs.

Since about eight years old, I have played the guitar off and on. My whole life, especially as I began to play professionally at twelve years old, I searched for the perfect guitar. The one that sounded the best, felt the best, and in my case, the neck action was very important. I love having the proper neck. I would rather have a good neck than a good pickup. Over the years I have owned the Gibson Country Gentleman, the Gibson Les Paul Custom, the Gibson Lucille, the Gibson Johnny A. Signature, and the Gibson SG Custom. These come right out of Gibson’s custom shop. The SG Custom is the same guitar that Morrison played in his band, “Come on Baby Light My Fire”. They are all good guitars.

Some of the other guitars that I own are the Duesenbergs, the Epiphone, the Fender Stratocaster, and the Fender Telecaster, the Gretsch, the Rickenbacker, and the Taylor and Martin.

All of these guitars are good, but for me it wasn’t enough, I wanted one that had all the characteristics that I liked. I soon realized that there probably wasn’t one, so I decided to create my own guitar, highlighting the features that I liked the most, good neck action and low string action, then I customized them and put different style pickups on them, such as Lollar, Seymour Duncan, and Bare Knuckles out of London.

I created my own custom guitar line called the “Efulcher line” through the “Top Guitar Company”. I have many different models in it, I design the guitars, and the “Top Guitar Company” builds them. Once they have finished and I get the guitars back I modify them and upgrade to an even higher level than what they produce.

Check out the guitars that I have created thus far.
